Perthshire Highland Games Association: Homepage

PERTHSHIRE HIGHLAND GAMES PERTHSHIRE Highland Games Association, with the support of what was then Perthshire Tourist Board, was formed in 2003 to support and assist the organisation and promotion of Highland Games in Perthshire and the surrounding areas. Fifteen Highland Games covering the length and breadth of Perthshire in the heart of Scotland are now members. The Games season runs from May to September and the PHGA organises Leagues in the Heavy events, Highland Dancing and Junior Piping.
	Many of our Member Games are also members of the Scottish Highland Games Association. PHGA extends a warm welcome to Highland Safaris, Scotland’s Premier Land Rover Safari and Event Management Company who are the new sponsors of the Perthshire Highland Games Association and the Heavyweight League. Based at The Safari Lodge Visitor Centre near Aberfeldy, Highland Safaris have developed a unique way for individuals, families and groups to engage with the Scottish wilderness. To further our grass roots training programme, PHGA has been awarded a sportsmatch grant for 2009 by the Scottish Sports Council. See news page.
